John Dingell—Get a job!

My dad was born in 1955, the same year that John Dingell, Jr. was elected to congress. The congressman from Michigan has been there ever since: fifty five years!
As a young man, Dingell, left the military and headed back to the classroom studying how to interpret and maneuver the laws that he would one day write. As a lawyer he was technically considered to be in private practice; however, as prosecuting attorney for the county, every dollar that found its way to him had been stolen by the government from some private citizen. I doubt that the man has ever earned a single penny that wasn’t filtered through government coercion; he owes his entire existence to the utilization of force. Without the efforts of bullies, he would starve.
John Dingell has presided over an era of vast government expansion and looting of the ordinary citizens that is literally unprecedented in world history. For that record Dingell was honored by the White House during the anniversary of his fiftieth year in congress. The White House has yet to honor me even though I have been a net gain for society during my short time in the workforce.
John Dingell has also been made a rich man through his General Motors stock holdings. GM—where his wife is an executive—also happen to contribute generously to his reelection campaigns.
I would love to hear one of the sheep from the democrat flock defend this scumbag. I’d be willing to bet that any such mass-minded cheerleader would be a hardworking American—and yet would bend over backwards to justify fifty-five years of John Dingell’s bullshit. Maybe that is the saddest part.
In any case, I think after six decades it’s time for John Dingell to get a job. He has yet to have one in all his life.
John Dingell, Jr. was elected to congress the same year that Ford Motor Company released the Crown Victoria. It sold for $2,300.
